Nurturing Nest Residential Home (NNRH) is seeking interns to help out at our level III residential mental health facility in Charlotte.

As an intern at Nurturing Nest Residential home, your daily responsibilities will include: 

• Assisting staff in providing support and care for residents, engaging clients in recreational activities, and helping facilitate therapeutic exercises.

• Participating in daily check-ins, documentation of client progress, and maintaining a safe and clean living environment.

• Observing and learning about individualized care plans, participating in team meetings, and supporting clients in developing life skills and building healthy relationships.

• Collaboration with staff and adherence to confidentiality and safety protocols will be essential throughout your internship.

Requirements:

• Must be a junior, senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree or in a post-graduate program at an accredited college or university.

• Preferred degree in social work, psychology, sociology or any other related field.

• Must be CPR certified

• Must have a means of transportation to get to the internship site.

• Valid Driver’s license preferred
